As a qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor, Natasha offers workshops to equip individuals and organisations with the skills to recognise and respond to mental health issues and crises.
These workshops provide valuable tools for promoting mental health awareness and fostering supportive communities.

Individual Counselling

​SMH Consulting delivers compassionate, confidential mental health support to individuals over 18.
​
Referrals are not required however Medicare rebates are available for individuals who have been referred with a Mental Health Care Plan by a General Practitioner.

Meet Natasha Leaver

Natasha is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with over 13 years experience working with children, adolescents, individuals and families. Natasha has worked across numerous settings including non-government, private practice, public health and education.
Originally from Lucinda, North Queensland, Natasha has lived in the Whitsunday region for the past 17 years where she has developed a passion for supporting individuals and families living in rural settings.

The Bowen Cancer & Ostomy Support Group
This wonderful group meets on the first Monday of every month from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Bowen PCYC.
This group offers practical and emotional support to anyone who has been impacted by a cancer diagnosis or anyone who has a stoma (Ileostomy, Urostomy or Colostomy).
Carers are welcome to attend - carers need care too x
